Egypt - Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt’s (FAIT) volume of business increased to EGP 108.305 billion at the end of December 2019, from EGP 95 billion in the same period last year, representing 13.5% growth, the bank stated in a statement sent to EGX.

Additionally, the total assets of the bank increased from EGP 94 billion in Dec. 2019 to EGP 103 billion in December 2019, representing 9.6% growth.

The current accounts and deposits rose to EGP 86.036 billion in December 2019, from EGP 79.057 billion in the same period of the previous year, representing 8.8% growth.

The bank accounts reached 1.727 million by the end of December 2019.
