Cairo – Mubasher: Tourism establishments in Egypt will get a six-month exemption from real estate taxes as per directives of the President Abdel Fatta El-Sisi.

In addition, all dues owed by businesses in the tourism industry will be postponed for three months without late penalties, according to a statement on Monday.

The Egyptian President also ordered the central bank to consider providing hotels and other tourism establishments with low-interest funding.

These measures aim to protect the tourism industry after being hit hardly by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
