Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's furniture exports rose by 19% year-on-year (YoY) to $161.413 million during the first eight months of 2021, compared to $136.154 million, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Sunday.

In August, the country's furniture exports fell by 5% to $13.959 million from $14.684 million in the same month in 2020, a report released by the Egyptian Furniture Export Council showed.

Saudi Arabia topped Egypt's furniture export market destinations with a value of $42 million (26.1%) in the January-August period, while Iraq imported $17 million (13.3%) worth of furniture exports from Egypt.
