Egypt - Tahya Misr Fund allocated EGP 320 million for eight projects in Aswan that will be inaugurated soon, Al Borsa News cited Governor Ashraf Attia on January 26th.

Construction and infrastructure works have been completed for the developments, which have a total cost of EGP 686 million, Attia added.

Egypt’s planning ministry has earmarked EGP 323 million for the projects, while the Industrial Development Authority pledged EGP 43 million, according to Aswan governor.

Tahya Misr, meanwhile, is implementing a total of 14 projects in Aswan, he added.

Attia confirmed that Benban Hospital is among the developments that will be opened in the near future.

The government revealed last October the implementation of 487 projects in Aswan at a total cost of EGP 17.5 billion.
