Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government is set to open a group of projects in Minya Governorate, with total investments of EGP 2.659 billion, governor Osama el Qady stated on Tuesday.

The government will open a bridge in Samalut and a complex for small and medium industries in Al Matahrah, which will include 68 units, with total investments of EGP 273 million, el Qady added.

A number of 69 schools will be expanded with a total cost of EGP 338.7 million, which will serve 35,000 students, the governor revealed.

El Qady said that two water plants will be opened in Minya, with total costs of EGP 565 million and EGP 690 million.

The government will develop and build three hospitals and five childhood & motherhood centres, along with a cancer centre, with total investments of EGP 823 million, he noted.
