The Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (IEDC) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Islamic Economics Institute at King Abdul Aziz University (KAU) in Saudi Arabia.

IEDC aims at expanding its network of strategic partners in the Arabian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, according to the Government of Dubai Media Office.

The agreement is set to allow for the exchange of knowledge and experience between the two entities.

Moreover, the two parties will coordinate efforts in research, education, and training, as well as launching initiatives focused on Islamic finance and economy.
