AMMAN — The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the Technology Strategies Middle East Company (TSME), representative of Automation Anywhere Inc, on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a centre of excellence in robotics at the ministry's headquarters.

The memo entails training employees from the ministry and other government institutions on robotic process automation (RPA), according to a ministry statement sent to The Jordan Times.

Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Muthanna Gharaibeh highlighted the importance of resorting to RPA technology, which is among the vital tools in the digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

Milan Sheth, executive vice president for India, Middle East and Africa at Automation Anywhere Inc, expressed delight over the partnership.
