KUWAIT CITY - Within the framework of efforts aimed at promoting and developing the tourism and commercial sector in Kuwait, The Salhia Real Estate Company said it is constructing what it called a multi-use ‘Al-Asimah’ (Capital) tower and complex, which is considered the latest tourism and marketing destination that is being developed according to international standards, reports Al-Rai daily. This huge development project is located in the heart of Kuwait City and is rightfully named ‘The Capital’ because Kuwait City is considered a small city with many main services available, along with various means of entertainment and services for visitors in one place.

The project includes a set of basic elements and components that make up its distinctive structure, which include a commercial complex, a commercial tower and a five-star hotel. The architectural design of the project is by the Arab Office for Engineering Consultancy (Pace) depicting a modern and real estate vision that fits with the market data, meets its requirements and restores the commercial luster and weight of Kuwait City as a financial and commercial center for the State, in addition to supervising the stages of implementation and completion with the highest quality standards.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, Ghazi Al-Nafisi, said that despite the challenges due to the spread of the coronavirus in the country, the work is going on in full swing according to timetables. The project is expected to be completed next year.

Al-Nafisi added that the new ‘Al-Asimah’ project will provide a unique marketing and entertainment experience, as the complex consists of a basement and 5 floors that include vast commercial and entertainment spaces topped by the ‘Marriott Executive Hotel & Apartments’, which consists of 11 floors, including 164 suites with their services of restaurants and multi-purpose halls and will include a health club, two multi-storey car parking buildings, while the Capital Tower consists of 54 floors with a distinctive view.
