Al Maya adds Macro brand to exclusive Woolworths range in UAE

Australian national brand has supplied exclusive range for over a year now

UAE - Australia's national brand Woolworths will now be supplying its Macro Wholefoods Market and Macro Organic brands exclusively to UAE retail major Al Maya, providing pure, wholesome food that makes eating healthy, tasty and easy.

Macro is Australia's largest healthier food brand, built on the philosophy of "what's inside matters", placing great importance on products containing only real, wholefood ingredients and nothing else.

Woolworths has been supplying its range of grocery products on an exclusive basis to Al Maya for more than a year now. During this time, Woolworths has supplied Al Maya with around 200 individual SKUs across all grocery categories - including breakfast foods, snack foods, cooking needs, condiments and canned goods.

"We have introduced Woolworths products, Australia's prime brand throughout the UAE. Woolworths products are available in all of our supermarkets and have been very well accepted by our customers," said Kamal Vachani, group director of Al Maya Group.

"We are happy and excited to introduce Woolworths' innovative health brands Macro Wholefoods Market and Macro Organic exclusively at our outlets," added Vachani. "We look forward to introducing more and more products from Woolworths Australia, and pushing our relationship to new heights in the years to come."
