JAKARTA, Nov 1 (Reuters) - Indonesia's finance ministry sold 3.56 trillion rupiah ($273.01 million) of Islamic bonds at an auction, above the indicative target of 3 trillion rupiah, its financing and risk management office said on Tuesday.

The weighted average yield for Islamic t-bills maturing in April 2017 was 5.99229 percent, lower than 6.00644 percent at the last Oct. 18's auction.

The project-based sukuk maturing in May 2019 had a weighted average yield of 6.88155 percent, higher than the 6.81680 percent yield at the last auction.

For the project-based sukuk maturing in May 2021, the weighted average yield was 7.15565 percent, higher than 7.11976 percent at the previous auction.

The project-based sukuk maturing in November 2031 had a weighted average yield of 7.87851 percent, above the previous auction's 7.57722 percent yield.

The highest bid-to-cover ratio was 2.79 for the project-based sukuk maturing in May 2021.

Total incoming bids on Tuesday were 4.98 trillion rupiah, higher than the previous auction's 4.04 trillion rupiah. ($1 = 13,040 rupiah)
