43rd public joint stock company listing on DFM

Trading symbol UNIKAI allotted

DUBAI, October 31, 2006: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) today (October 31, 2006) announced the listing of United Kaipara Dairies Company, incorporated in Dubai.

United Kaipara Dairies is the 43rd listed to list its shares on the DFM and the 61st listed security on the market. United Kaipara Dairies shares will start trading today (October 31, 2006) under the trading symbol UNIKAI that will appear on DFM screens, trading systems and publications. The Company is classified within the "industry" sector.

The listing of ordinary shares of United Kaipara Dairies has been finalised and approved by DFM in collaboration with ESCA. The Company's paid up capital is AED 25 million as at 30th June 2006.

About United Kaipara Dairies Company
United Kaipara Dairies Company (popularly known by its brand name "Unikai") is wholly owned by UAE nationals. It was incorporated as a public limited company in Dubai by a decree of H.H. the Ruler of Dubai on April 11, 1977 with Al Owais Family and the Al Mulla Family being the main sponsors. The Company's head office, its production facilities and main distribution facilities are located in the Al Quoz Industrial Area in Dubai, over an area of 475,000 square feet.
