Abu Dhabi 25th March 2013: Musanada, the Abu Dhabi General Services Company, serving the government of Abu Dhabi, has signed agreements with Al-Dhafra Engineering and Contracting Est. and Al-Futtaim Engineering.

Under the agreements, worth Dhs34.5 million, Al-Dhafra and Al-Futtaim Engineering will supply and install package air-conditioning units for various government buildings under Musanada's management.

Contract terms follow a blanket agreement with both contractors for the supply and installation of air conditioning units for entities, departments and organisations of the Government of Abu Dhabi.

The agreements were signed by H.E. Mohamed Khalifa Al-Fahed Al-Mehairi, CEO of Musanada, Eng. Moayad Hassoun, General Manager of Al-Dhafra Engineering and Contracting Est., and Dawood Bin Ozair, Senior Managing Director, Electronics, Engineering and Technologies, Al-Futtaim group,at Musanada's headquarters in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of a number of senior officials from Musanada, Al-Dhafra and Al-Futtaim.

The value of the contract between Musanada and Al-Dhafra Engineering is Dhs19.5 million, while Al-Futtaim Engineering was awarded Dhs15 million contract.

Tenders were issued for the said jobs through local publications in which a number of companies submitted their bids and quotations. Al-Dhafra and Al-Futtaim were shortlisted and contracts were awarded to them on the basis of their expertise and track record in the field.

Following the contract signing, H.E. Mohamed Khalifa Al-Fahed Al-Mehairi, CEO, Musanada, stressed the need for enhancing the level of quality on sustainability in existing infrastructure, keeping in line with the highest international standards and taking into account the improved conditions with the participation of private sector.

His Excellency further praised the leaders of the UAE who are constantly working towards providing all means of comfort and well-being for the UAE Nationals and residents.

"All solutions will follow the requirements maintained by the Government of Abu Dhabi which are in accordance with the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030, escalating Abu Dhabi's Government to one of the top governments in the world in the provision of high-quality services," he added.

Eng. Moayad Hassoun, GM, Al-Dhafra Engineering and Contracting Est., expressed his thanks to Musanada for selecting Al-Dhafra's commercial and technical proposal. He said, "In light of our experience spanning over twenty years in the field, we will spare no effort in implementing the highest quality of work in air-conditioning of government buildings located in Abu Dhabi in a timely manner."
