Manama, 24th March, 2013: Capital Club Bahrain, the Kingdom's premier private business club and member of the ENSHAA group of companies, will host its third business forum of 2013, this time focusing on the business of media, featuring Bahrain's Minister of State for Information Affairs H. E. Sameera Rajab.
The straight-talking former journalist and current Bahraini Minister will discuss the role of media in developing and supporting Bahrain's economy. The Forum, which will take place on Tuesday, 26th March in the Club's Skyline Lounge on the 51st Floor of Bahrain Financial Harbour's East Tower. It will be presented in Arabic with simultaneous translation to English, generously provided by Berlitz.
With a strong background in media as a former journalist and writer for Akhbar-Alkhaleej newspaper, and as a columnist for a weekly publication in Oman, the famously outspoken Sameera Rajab currently holds the distinguished role as the kingdom of Bahrain's Minister of State for Information Affairs.
She has acquired over 27 years' experience in the private and economic sectors, including serving as a political analyst. She has played integral roles in several legislative committees, including the Shura council, General Secretariat - Arab National Conference - Beirut, Islamic National Conference - Beirut, Bahrain's Society for Family Planning, the Centre (Tes'aa) For Woman Support Care and Women and Children Committee, among many others.
Capital Club's Business Forum series takes place on a monthly basis, focusing on topics that affect the business community at large. Thus far in 2013, the Club has featured key industry players to discuss the region's real estate and oil & gas industries. April's Forum will offer a platform to the key decision makers involved in Bahrain's 2013 F1 who will discuss the economic and business benefits of the sport for the Kingdom.
