His Excellency Dr. Rashid Ahmad Bin Fahad, The Minister of Environment and Water, in his office in Dubai, Mr. Yousef Babaclonev, the Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they reviewed relations between the UAE and the Republic of Tajikistan in the fields of environment, water, renewable energy and sustainable development, and discussed issues of common interest between the two countries, and the ways to develop them.
Bin Fahad explained that the Ministry of Environment and Water has developed a set of programs and regulations that would preserve the environment in the country so as to achieve sustainable environmental development to conserve it for future generations.
Mr. Babaclonev praised the efforts made by the UAE of projects that contribute to maintaining the natural resource, investing in future energy, and the reduction of the environmental footprint. He also extended an invitation for the Minister of Environment and Water to attend the International Conference on Water and scheduled during the August 2013, in Tajikistan.
