Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) announced its sponsorship of the celebration of Bahraini Women's Day 2012 which was held yesterday and was titled "Woman & Sport: Will - Achievement - Aspirations", under the patronage of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Women.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, Managing Director & CEO at KFH-Bahrain said "We are pleased to participate in the celebration of Bahraini women who were able to make great achievements and excelled in various fields compared with their counterparts in the region. The Bahraini women played a great role in helping to build the Kingdom, so we are very happy to support the Supreme Council for Women in organizing the celebration of Bahraini Women's Day".
The Bahraini Women's Day is a national celebration that appreciates the achievements of Bahraini women in various fields. This significant occasion aims to shed light on the successes and the challenges they have faced and how they were able to make notable achievements in their participation at international tournaments or launching various initiatives to attract qualified women in various sports fields who are able to represent Bahrain honorably in international events.
Mr. Abdul Razak Jawahery, Executive Manager at KFH-Bahrain, presented the representatives of the Supreme Council for Women with the Bank's support at their Headquarters in the Bahrain World Trade Center.
