Amman: The National Integrated Industries Complex (NIIC), the first industrial establishment of its kind in the Middle East, recently received a delegation of the most important Jordanian distributers specialized in electric and electronic home appliances, at its headquarters based in Al Mwaqqar area.
"South Electronics Company" organized the aforementioned visit to take a closer look at the actual integrated manufacturing based on Complete Knock Down methods, adopted by NIIC; this approach ensures that 80% of the home appliances produced by the Complex, namely, the air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators, are produced within NIIC's factories.
Chairman of the Board of Directors at NIIC, Mr. Osama Darwish Al Khalili, expressed his happiness with this initiative which took place during the most important productive period at the factories. He further stressed that the Complex is always keen on solidifying the relations with the Jordanian tradesmen, and said: "We consider tradesmen in Jordan as partners of success and achievements, whether those of the past, or the more to come".
"Tradesmen represent an essential constituent of our growth and sustainability. Today we, at NIIC, are proud to receive them in our leading industrial complex which is expected to positively impact the development of electric and electronic home appliances' industry, in Jordan and the Middle East", he added.
Some major topics and issues were tackled and discussed during the delegation's visit, such as the industrial sector and its development measures, on the way to build a strong structure of the Arabian industry in MENA markets; the foreign industries and their competition in the Arab markets, as well as the demand and request variables of electric and electronic home appliances.
On his part, CEO at NIIC, Mr. Mashhour Abdullah El- Basha, emphasized that the Jordanian market is one of the most important markets targeted by NIIC, and said: "Our top priority, at NIIC, is to take over a good share of the local market, which could be realized by our complete understanding of the Jordanian consumers' needs and tastes that really helped us develop our products and launch them to meet their requirements".
The visit included an introductory detailed tour around the plants of NIIC, taking account of the factories of air conditioners, washing machines, plastic and polystyrene; the delegation had the chance to observe the industrial capacities of NIIC and its productive potentials within the international specifications and the accurate quality control systems and methods.
In closing their visit, the delegation members pointed out that they are proud of having such leading industrial investment, the National Integrated Industries Complex, in the Kingdom, especially that it embraces all success and sustainability elements, , and all qualifications and specifications to mark NIIC as a real competitor of the biggest Arab and foreign factories.

The National Integrated Industries Complex (NIIC) was established in 2008, its initial investment amounted to 172 million USD. The establishment is built over a space area of 105.000 m2 in Al Muwaggar Region; it includes five factories: refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, plastic, and polystyrene plants, as well as warehouses. Those factories are fully equipped with the best production lines especially imported from Korea, Japan, and Germany, which enables the Complex reach 80% of locally manufactured products, and penetrate 16 markets in MENA.
