Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Oct. 30, 2006 - Intel has launched an Arabic website dedicated to its Education initiatives across the region. This marks a corporate addition to its Arabic portal which initially went live in October 2004.  The new Arabic portal, www.intel.com/arabic/education, expands on Intel's reach in the region providing extensive information about Intel's Education Excellence initiatives, success stories and news releases.  Each country has its own portal that delves into the different initiatives available within that specific country.

"We have expanded the depth and breadth of Intel's Arabic website to include our region-wide education initiatives," said Ferruh Gurtas, Intel Education Manager for Middle East Turkey and Africa. "The website also plays host to a forum where readers can get involved in Intel's vast education initiatives and provides an interactive platform for teachers and students to exchange ideas on the latest education tools, curricula and teaching methods," he added.

The updated website contains information about Intel Teach to the Future and Intel Learn in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Lebanon and Egypt and provides information about each program, the curriculum, case studies, success stories, and describes the different ways people can get involved with Intel's initiatives. The website also provides information regarding Intel's Club Houses in various countries with information on how people can volunteer and help to improve their community and make a difference. In addition, the site hosts Intel's latest news about education keeping its audience up-to-date with all its activities.

Intel Teach Program and Intel Learn Program are part of the Intel's Digital Transformation Initiative which is a comprehensive, multi-year program that will expand Intel's economic, educational and technology-related support throughout the Middle East and Turkey. Intel's Digital Transformation Initiative builds on already significant IT activities in the region and increases the company's investment in Local Entrepreneurship, Education, Digital Accessibility and Specialized Technical Competencies.
