As part of the interest of Dubai Municipality to recognize the noble services and dedication, Eng. Hussain Nassir Lootah , Director General of Dubai Municipality has honoured its veteran employees who have completed 35 years in service.

This was in a ceremony attended by assistant director generals and other senior officials in the City Hall of DM main building in Deira where 81 veteran employees were honoured from different departments and organizational units.

Lootah affirmed that the civic body recognizes good services of all participants in the journey of developments achieved by the city of Dubai through the municipality along with other government departments helping Dubai to become one of the most advanced global cities.

He praised the constant contribution of these employees even if majority of them are unknown soldiers in their sincerity and devotion in the work. 'There is no doubt that the civic body has achieved many of its excellent targets and received a lot of awards in local and international levels with the support of these employees,' Lootah said.

'This honouring ceremony is symbolic but a good momentum, through which we hope to create a good feeling and happiness in those soldiers who are still contributing with the same spirit and enthusiasm for the country and we wish them all the best and long life with good health,' he added.
