International Fairs and Promotions (IFP) announces the launching of the 7th edition of the International Boat and Super Yacht Show, Beirut Boat 2011, at La Marina Joseph Khoury - Dbayeh between 18 and 22 of May 2011. This glamorous business and leisure event is held under the patronage of the President of the Lebanese Republic, General Michel Sleiman, and jointly organized with Messe Düsseldorf, the world's leading company in the organisation of boat shows.

"This year's off-shore event promises more innovations, more exciting events and more luxury", explains Joelle Ghannam, Project Manager of Beirut Boat at IFP. "The remarkable success and unprecedented satisfaction registered last year played a positive role in attracting more exhibitors, whose participation in 2011 is expected to exceed all expectations" she added.

Ghannam goes on to say that the world's top brands in leisure marine industry will be present on the Lebanese shores in the 2011 show. Visitors will have the chance to experience the charms of seaside living, from super yachts and sailing boats, to fishing equipment and sport boats.

More than 100 super yachts and boats will be on display, saturating by this, and for the first time, the entire sea shore exhibition space of the venue, and way before the event's launch date. Less than 5% of the on-land exhibition platform is still available for exhibitors wishing to participate in the prestigious showcase of marine industry.

Ghannam underlines that the conclusion of a good number of trade agreements in last year's event, constituted a real incentive for marine industrial companies to rush and reserve a place in Beirut Boat 2011. The number of participating countries is thus expected to exceed 100 countries, with more than 120 international exhibitors. National pavilions will also be reserved for some countries.

As a matter of fact, on the first day of Beirut Boat 2010, a luxury yacht on display was sold to an Arab businessman for 10 million Euros, knowing that the same boat was selling for less before the show. "This is only a proof of the refined taste of the showcase visitors, who are serious boating enthusiasts constantly attracted by the magnificence of marine industry" confirms the PM of Beirut Boat.

Increased sales of water sport equipment and accessories, from nautical gift items, to diving, fishing, water skiing and windsurfing equipment, within Beirut Boat - considered as the embodiment of the summer season in Lebanon- is nothing but a proof of the increasing demand on boating and marine equipment, in Lebanon and in the region.

Ghannam finally extends an invitation to boat and sea lovers to come and enjoy a world of fascinating marine luxury, combined with live music performance and spectacular fashion shows for enhanced enchanting seaside atmosphere.
