Jaber Mohammed Hamood Al Rawahi was rewarded for excellence in merchandising; salesman Mohammed Sadaf Ahmed El Ghadhban for his work in constantly achieving sales targets over the past year; sales executive Jamal Abdullah Mohammed Al Siyabi for not only hitting targets but having a record breaking year in 2009 and sales executive Mostafa Hussain Hassan was rewarded in recognition of his leadership, dedication, discipline, passion and achievement for A'Saffa over the past 12 months.
Presenting the awards, Dr. Al Maully said: "The success of our company is built on the quality and the talent of the people who work for A'Saffa. I am delighted to have the opportunity to recognise the achievements of these four outstanding individuals who have all played a vital role in helping ensure the success of our business in 2009 and help us to maintain and extend our leaderships position in the Omani market.
"These four individuals are typical of the hard work and commitment of all staff who work here at our head office in Muscat and at our state of the art farm facility near Thumrait. I would like to congratulate all of our staff on their efforts and support during 2009 that have laid the foundations for a great year ahead as A'Saffa continues to expand and grow our business both here in Oman and increasingly across the region."
A'Saffa Poultry recently announced that the company has plans to grow and expand its operations at its state of the art farm near Thumrait in the south of the Sultanate to meet growing demand at home and overseas for its high quality natural chicken products and increase its market share from its current position of 25% to over 35% within two years.
The company is already the clear market leader and by far the biggest producer of chicken in the Sultanate with current annual production of 17,000 tonnes of product produced for supermarket shelves in Oman, the GCC and other countries.
Since commencing operations in 2004, the company has grown to be acknowledged as the number one poultry company in Oman with a growing regional reputation for the quality of its natural-fed, hand slaughtered chickens produced at their international quality facility near Thumrait - the largest single integrated poultry plant in the Sultanate.
