In support of the local business community, Sheikh Khalfan bin Mohammed Al Aisari, CEO of Al Nama Company for Administration Consultancy, signed recently a RO90,000 Mudharabah contract with Golden Eagle Eye Company, which is a company incubated at The Knowledge Mine (TKM) of the Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM).
This collaboration arose as a result of a recent workshop held at TKM on challenges and obstacles faced by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), which was moderated by Sheikh Al Aisari. The contract shall assist Golden Eagle Eye Company to purchase equipment for a project which is underway in cooperation with a government institution.
Commenting on the potential that this collaboration holds, Al Aisari noted, "I believe that the youth of Oman are the engine that will take the country to the next level. The youth of today has energy, hidden talent, and some are ambitious and enthusiastic. Such energy needs to be supported, guided and directed to good cause."
"I also believe that Omanis have in their blood business acumen. Historically, they ventured into open seas all the way to China, India, Africa and even America. We need to rekindle this spirit and the SME is the way forward and the vehicle that will equip them with right knowledge and skills. Because of this belief, I chose to support Golden Eagle Eye Company with its project and I am confident that this is only the beginning to many more venture capital projects," Al Aisari pointed out.
Al Aisari stressed that through such approach, job creation and employment opportunities will be facilitated and provided to many young Omanis. "This comes indeed in line with the call from His Majesty to further develop the private sector by embracing and supporting young Omanis to contribute effectively to the national economy," he added.
