World Travel Awards regarded as the Oscars of the travel and tourism industries
Dubai, 9 May 2013 - One of the UAE's leading corporate and retail travel management companies, Al-Futtaim Travel, recently won the prestigious 'UAE's Leading Travel Agency 2013' award at the World Travel Awards Grand Final Gala Ceremony that was recently held at the Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa in Dubai.
The Al-Futtaim Group company emerged with honours against many industry leaders including Orient Travel, Abu Dhabi Travel Bureau, Salem Travel Agency, Al Rais Holidays, Omeir Travel Agency and Safar Travel &Tourism.

The World Travel Awards are the travel industry's equivalent to the Oscars and they are presented once a year by a jury of experts from the travel and tourism industries. The award categories included all aspects of services provided by airlines, travel agents, tour operators, destinations and hotels amongst others.
Al-Futtaim Travel also received the "Middle East Leading Travel Management Company In The UAE" award in 2011.
