'Monster Rewards' Winners announced
Air Miles, the Middle East's leading multi-participant loyalty programme, recently hosted its fifth Marketing Forum at the Sheraton Hotel, Bahrain. The forum provided Air Miles' Bahraini partners and customers with the opportunity to learn more about the company's upcoming events and marketing initiatives.
Participants at the forum heard from various guest speakers including Dr. Khalid Amin, a member of the distinguished Manama Toast Master Club, who presented a segment on marketing.
"Our annual marketing forums provide our valued partners and customers in Bahrain with the opportunity to engage in a dialogue about the region's retail market and learn more about Air Miles focused marketing initiatives," said Awny Ahmed, Head of Regional Business, Air Miles Middle East.
The highlight of the marketing forum was the presentation of the first 'Monster Rewards' winners in Bahrain. Air Miles' successful 'Monster Rewards' programme was launched during the festive season last year and allowed local shoppers the chance to win mega 'Monster Rewards' including a Damas diamond necklace, four mini-break packages and four million Air Miles.
Thamer Khamis Almuqla, scooped the first Monster Reward prize while Srinivasaraghavan Kumar bagged the second Monster Reward package.
The winner of the third Monster Reward Prize was received by Sudaba Shahnyaee while Amal Al Nasser and Hassan Qambar took home the fourth and fifth Monster Reward Prizes.
Srinivasaraghavan Kumar winner of the second Monster Reward package commented on his win, "I was really surprised by my Air Miles win- this is a great treat for my family and I. I use my Air Miles card almost every day and since I won the Monster Reward prize I have been urging my friends and family to sign up."
Hassan Qambar, Bahraini national, winner of the fifth Monster Reward package, said, "I have been an Air Miles member since the programme launched in Bahrain last year. The Monster Rewards promotion came at an opportune time as I made use of my Air Miles card frequently during the festive season in December. I am extremely happy with my win and would like to thank the Air Miles team."

This year we plan to enhance our offerings and welcome new participants including Carters & OshKosh and UAE Exchange" Ahmed added.
"2008 is set to be a milestone year for Air Miles as we celebrate our first anniversary in Bahrain this April. We plan to mark this occasion by rewarding our members with Triple Air Miles on April 11th and 12th," concluded Ahmed.
