Auto accessory retailer partners with the region's leading loyalty programme

Yellow Hat customers and Air Miles members will benefit from a new partnership between the auto accessory chain and the region's leading coalition loyalty programme.

Managing Director of Sharaf Group, Yellow Hat's UAE partner, Yasser Sharaf and Air Miles Middle East MD, Mark Mortimer-Davies, today launched a collaboration where customers can now collect and spend Air Miles at Yellow Hat stores in Times Square, Nad Al Hamar and the new service and retail centre opening in Al Quoz in June, 2013.

Under the agreement, members will receive two Air Miles for every dirham spent on all products and services at any Yellow Hat outlet including car audio, alloy wheels and tyres and navigation systems.

To celebrate the launch, a weekend of in-store activities is being held from Thursday May 25 to Saturday May 27, 2013, between 10am-10pm in Times Square and Nad Al Hamar, where many customers will experience the rewarding nature of the Air Miles programme, with the chance to win a share of 600,000 Air Miles and an auto accessories goody bag.

Mr Sharaf said: "Our group's consumer electronics chain, Sharaf DG, partnered with Air Miles at the beginning of 2013 and the response has been excellent. It has proven to us Air Miles is the perfect brand to associate with, as it's free and can be used in many retailers across the region, rewarding customers each time they shop.

"This partnership with Air Miles will now enable us to offer a loyalty programme where our customers can earn and redeem Air Miles every time they shop at Yellow Hat, which will increase footfall and help us understand our customers better through their vast experience in consumer buying behaviour analysis. We see Yellow Hat as a retail success story and the Air Miles relationship will help differentiate ourselves further from our competition as we continue to expand."

Mr Mortimer-Davies, said: "This new partnership is a terrific addition for our members as we continue to increase the variety of partners our members can earn and spend Air Miles with. Our partnership with Yellow Hat is the right strategic decision for Air Miles as it means our members now have the widest choice, best value and trusted service on their entire car accessories spend, which should be well received given the region's love of motoring."

Yellow Hat was established in Japan in 1961 and now has more than 500 stores worldwide with a combined turnover of more than $1billion, stocking thousands of car products from hundreds of manufacturers.
