Amman, Jordan, September 27, 2010 - H.E. Marwan Juma Minister of Information & Technology conducted a visit to the Abdali site to witness the preparation of numerous Information & Communication technologies undertaken throughout the project's construction & operational phases of the Central Business District of Amman.

During his tour, the Minister had the opportunity to view firsthand how Abdali Investment and Development PSC planned to implement the latest technology & communication techniques. Technology measures adopted by Abdali Smart living include permanent broadband connection available in every residence. That means that residents can manage what is going on in their house anywhere within Abdali such as: turn on the AC , program their washing machine to start , turn off the lights that have been left on, and monitor motion against intruders even when they are not home. Abdali will also introduce Triple Play technology to the entire area, providing its residents with highly effective service that combines phone, TV and internet services while offering simple & cost effective means of communication. Furthermore, Abdali as the future central business district of Amman, addressed all the business needs of tomorrow's world by providing a broadband internet connection via Ethernet technology & extensive wireless network, so that major companies in Amman's business hub can rely exclusively on a secure internet services for all of their work anywhere, anytime, within Abdali.

Following His Excellency's visit, the Minister said, "As one of the largest urban development projects in Amman, it is important to see that Abdali Has taken it upon itself to revolutionize information & communication technology in Jordan by adopting the latest & most advanced trends. The steps taken by Abdali will make a difference and will brighten up the future for generations to come and to enable the investment environment and position Jordan as a development and support hub for the whole region in ICT Industry"
