JEDDAH - Zamil Industrial Investment Co. launched recently its full Office 365 Enterprise project and other cloud computing initiatives.
Denis Heraud, Vice President of Enterprise and Partner Group EMEA at Microsoft-HQ, accompanied by other Microsoft officials, were welcomed by company officials led by COO of Zamil Industrial Osama Bunyan, Chief Information Officer Zaki Sabbagh.
The initiative is aligned with the strategic objectives of Zamil Industrial Information Technology Global Division (Zamil ITG) to deploy the latest technologies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve operations and services, as well as to ensure that the technology needs of all Zamil Industrial businesses are met.
Commenting on the occasion, Sabbagh said "Zamil Industrial has enjoyed a lengthy and productive relationship with Microsoft, and we are excited about the opportunities presented to our businesses by Microsoft's cloud solutions and the new tools available to our IT department. These solutions enable our company to enhance efficiency and customer service while conserving valuable resources and maintaining cost-effective operations."
Zamil Industrial utilizes a full range of Microsoft technologies to support its IT infrastructure and to run critical Windows-based business applications. The successful use of Microsoft products has created new ways in which Zamil Industrial employees can engage with customers, partners, and coworkers to form a more competitive organization. In addition, the newly activated Microsoft cloud solutions are expected to offer huge cost benefits and timesaving due to their simple installation and short transition times from legacy systems to fully operational solutions.
