Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian builder WCT Engineering has formed a 50/50 venture with a unit of Arabtec Holding to jointly build a $140 million drainage and sewerage system in Dubai, WCT said yesterday.

Arabtec had said in February its subsidiary had won the contract to build the system at Dubai's Jebel Ali International Airport. WCT said it and Arabtec Engineering Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arabtec Holding, would instal more than 100km of pressure pipes and more than 120km of gravity drain pipes.
