TUNIS, May 03, 2012 (AFP) - A Tunisian court on Thursday fined the director of Nessma television for insulting sacred values by screening the film "Persepolis," which showed depictions of God.
Nabib Karoui, who broadcast the Franco-Iranian film must pay 2,400 dinars (1,300 euros, $1,700 dollars), the court said in its judgement.
