MUSCAT -- The Wave, Muscat -- Oman's premier lifestyle destination -- hit the ground running in 2013 with the start of construction of its Siraj and Reehan Gardens phases, which boast a collective 143 apartments and villas at Oman's leading integrated tourism complex.

Siraj apartments, the apartment phase adjacent to the Marsa Village Retail Centre, have sold 95 per cent of its 40 units since its launch in February 2013. Construction of these luxurious apartments commenced in March 2013 and completion is anticipated in July 2014.

Investors have also bought up 85 per cent of the units at Reehan Gardens, on which construction started at the end of February 2013. The phase completion is projected for October 2014. Dubbed the 'Green Precinct' for its lush green open spaces and public parks, Reehan Gardens comprises 103 large twin villas and traditional detached villas in three to seven bedroom configurations designed to make the most efficient use of indoor and outdoor space of the villas.

Construction of Marsa One, Muscat's first water front apartments, will commence on June 2013 and about 90 per cent of the units have been sold since its launch last October. Construction on the Marsa Village Retail Centre which started last November is steadily progressing and it is expected to be completed in 2014. The centre comprises a number of commercial units and retail outlets built in around 12,500 sqm of area.

Michael Lenarduzzi, CEO of The Wave, Muscat, said: "We are pleased to see constructions at The Wave, Muscat are on schedule. The start of construction for both projects is the product of last year's solid financial performance, which saw more than 80 per cent of each of those phases sold. This reflects the customers' confidence on the project which is very essential part in our success. We look forward to enhancing these strong figures with three more residential launches this year which will add to the variety of residences The Wave, Muscat has to offer."

He also noted that: "The new Marsa Village retail centre will support promoting the commercial and tourism aspects in The Wave, Muscat and city through the renowned brands to be introduced".

"We always strive to bring our products with modern designs that comprise both Arabic and contemporary architectures to meet the demands and requests of our valuable customers and investors" the CEO added.

The Wave, Muscat has handed over more than 960 properties to customers to date, a number set to rise with the start of construction on these two phases. Construction usually starts after achieving 75 per cent of sales in every residential release. Customers are involved in the construction process and follow this in its different stages.

Customers can also select some of the material and fittings for their properties either through approaching the Sales Centre or online through the selection center, making choosing to invest in The Wave, Muscat a uniquely personal experience.
