MUSCAT -- The Wave, Muscat yesterday celebrated the full completion of more than 800 properties which their owners can now call home.
This latest milestone is yet another success in the journey of The Wave, Muscat and is testament to buyers' confidence in delivery of the project. Since the first phase of work started at the site in 2006, continuous development has seen the construction completed on over 1,200 properties, with more than 800 of these properties now lived-in by over 2,000 residents from 38 different nationalities.
From small families to first-time buyers, the development is known for offering the best of all worlds: a comfortable, luxurious home with beautiful public spaces to enjoy and great retail options on the doorstep.
The Wave Muscat's CEO, Michael Lenarduzzi, said: "Demand for high quality residential properties in Oman remains strong this year; with our competitive range of price points for both completed and off-plan properties, our development offers a real and solid option for Omani and international investment.
"At The Wave, Muscat we are building the new heart of Muscat. That is why with every property handover, we celebrate an addition to our growing and diverse community.
"We have now delivered over 1,200 properties and over 2,000 people call The Wave, Muscat home. With the construction of further phases and facilities well under way, adding to our expansion along the Muscat coastline, the offering at The Wave, Muscat is a real whole package."
The Wave, Muscat's Vice-President of Customer Services, Asim al Zadjali, added: "This latest landmark of expanding our community to more than 800 homes is one that we should rightly celebrate as a success.
"It is testament to the strong growth of our development overall, and particularly of our community growth here at The Wave, Muscat. We are looking forward to offering later this year yet more exciting facilities for all to enjoy, with the full opening of the 18-hole Almouj Golf course and Muscat's largest private marina, Almouj Marina."
This development milestone comes just ahead of the next sales launch at The Wave, Muscat of the waterfront apartments at the marina village, which is expected later this year.
The opening of the final 9 holes of the Greg Norman-designed, Professional Golf Association-standard golf course at Almouj Golf, and the launch of the Almouj Marina will follow over the next six months.
