DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--Standard Chartered (STAN.LN) Monday named Jonathan Morris as the new chief executive for its United Arab Emirates operation.
The U.K.-based, emerging-markets focused bank in an emailed statement said Morris has succeeded Jeremy Parrish, who has been in the U.A.E. for the past five years. He will now head Standard Chartered's business in Switzerland.
Morris moves from Bahrain where he was the CEO of StanChart.
