HOUSTON: SAUDII Aramco has hired McDermott International Inc., a Houston engineering firm, for offshore production platform equipment.
McDermott will supply construction engineering, partial procurement and fabrication of 16 production deck modules, the US company said Monday, UPI news agency said.
The first two decks are scheduled for installation by the middle of 2007, followed by 10 decks to be completed by the end of October 2007, with the remaining decks scheduled for installation by the middle of 2008.
