JEDDAH -- The Indian government has set up an online visa application system and it can be accessed at the website: www.indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/. Applicants for the Indian visa can now apply through this system.
The applicants from Saudi Arabia need to log on to the website and select the option of 'Saudi Arabia-Jeddah' as the mission. They are then required to fill a self-explanatory visa form and submit it online to start the process, take a printout, and approach a preferred visa outsourcing agency (namely VFS Global, Al-Fifer and Al-Tayyar) and submit a copy of their application, passport, two photographs and application fees.
This will enable visa-outsourcing agencies to access forms online and further process their applications. In case of urgency, applicants may directly approach the consulate.
