MUSCAT -- Salalah Mills has signed a contract with Swiss Buhler for a new production line.
The general manager of Salalah Mills, Ahmed bin Alawi Abdullah Al Zahab, signed on behalf of the company.
The contract was signed after the end of assessment and negotiation phase with many international companies.
Swiss Buhler is one of the best companies in the field of milling equipment industry and technology. The establishment of the new mill is part of the first phase of a project in grains production and storage expansion.
Al Zahab said that the choice of a dual-production mill of semolina and flour is the second in Gulf region, that meets the future needs of Salalah Macaroni Company.
Salalah Macaroni Company started its commercial production only recently and achieved high operating results during the first quarter of the current year.
