Renaissance Services subsidiary Tawoos Industrial Services Co (TISCO), the sultanate-based contract services company, has successfully mobilised Ministry of Health (MoH) hospitals under a new contract recently awarded to it.

The contract signifies a remarkable achievement for TISCO as the largest award from Oman's Ministry of Health during the past two decades of its continuous business relationship, a company press release said.

Ananda Fernando, chief executive officer of Renaissance Contract Services Group, said, "The Ministry of Health has always been at the forefront of our business portfolio and our company has had an unbroken, robust business relationship with MoH, ever since its inception in 1986."

The total awarded contract value is around RO19mn with a contract duration of three years. The scope of work provisioned for TISCO includes services such as catering, cleaning, laundry and pest control services for the hospitals.

Through this new award the company has added nine hospitals and health centres, taking the tally of total units served under this contract to 37, the release added.
