AMMAN -- The number of voters registered for the upcoming parliamentary elections reached 1.29 million by the end of Monday, according to Independent Elections Commission Spokesperson Hussein Bani Hani, who noted that 44,911 citizens across the Kingdom registered on Monday.

A team from the Civil Status and Passports Department will continue its visits to private institutions and government departments on Wednesday to help employees register and obtain voter identification cards.
