DOHA: The Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) is slated to hold its annual general meeting (AGM) on May 14.

This annual general meeting to be held at the headquarters of the QCCI is not required to meet the required quorum, since it is the second one and the first meeting was slated to be held on April 22.

Sheikh Khalifah bin Jasim bin Mohammad Al Thani, Chairman of the QCCI, will chair the meeting and members of the Chamber and General Assembly are expected to attend the meeting.

QCCI has called all staff associated to it to attend the meeting. The annual report of 2011 about the activities of the chamber will be presented in the meeting.

Terms and conditions to attend the meeting is that the membership should be valid and personal firms owners should come themselves with their ID cards, their representative also can attend the meeting if their names are available in the commercial license or he has the membership of QCCI and he has to produce his ID.

Representatives of the companies can attend the meeting by producing IDs if their names of available in the commercial license of the company or he has the membership of QCCI.

The meeting of the general assembly is going to held at a time when QCCI is preparing for sixth consultative meeting with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani that is expected to be held next month.
