Qatar Investment Authority Raises Shell Stake To 9.021%

LONDON (Dow Jones)--LONDON (Dow Jones)--Qatar Investment Authority, owner of Qatar Holding LLC, said Friday it bought 2.695 million shares in energy firm Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA) at 926.8277 pence and 200,000 at 938.4 pence, lifting its total holding to 270.9 million shares, or 9.021%.

MAIN FACTS:

--Shell 'A' shares at 0950 GMT down 23 pence, or 1.1%, at 1,988 pence valuing the company at GBP128 billion
