Muscat: Precision Engineering and Consultancy, an 100 per cent Omani company with interest in oil and gas sector, Petrojaya Sendirian Berhad a subsidiary of Petrokon Utama Sdu bhd, Brunei and Intamas Corporation, yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint-venture company to expand engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services in offshore and onshore activities.
The signing ceremony for providing EPC services in Brunei was graced by Khalifa bin Mubarak Al Hinai, Advisor, Ministry of Oil and Gas; Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al Naimi, member of State Council, Dato Dr Haji Besar bin Haji Abu Bakar, ambassador, embassy of Brunei Darussalam, along with a number of officials from all the three companies.
Speaking on the occasion, Nasser Al Habsi, chief executive officer of Precision Engineering and Consultancy, said that expanding the business portfolio in offshore and onshore will provide strong platform and exchange bilateral relations and "we will aim to provide total engineering solutions to oil and gas sector.
