Red, the new theatrical attraction by Ferrari World Abu Dhabi does not meet expectations — it exceeds them. This permanent and daily show brings together a group of world-class acrobats from Australia, Britain, Africa and Europe, setting high standards for theatrical entertainment in the UAE.
“It is a unique show, brought to Ferrari World combining prize-winning acrobats and the world’s largest acro-wheel. It combines fantasy and reality, with a hint of romance and some truly high-end stunts,” said park manager Andy Keeling at a presentation of the show on Tuesday.
A team of 15 acrobats take the stage as different technologies combine to form a surreal show, which is will most likely be the highlight of any viewer’s night, especially for Abu Dhabi residents where world class entertainment is usually temporary.
“We usually survey our visitors and many of them said that they would like to see more excitement in Ferrari World, something that would wow them, and I think this show certainly does that,” Keeling said.
Lighting, coordination, props, BMX bikers, and the main clown-host give the show a major edge.
The show will run three times a day, at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm throughout Ferrari World’s open days (Tuesday-Sunday), and is roughly 40 minutes long.
“Some parts of what the audience has seen tonight was not part of the original plan. Many surprises are up ahead as the show will continuously progress and with the near opening of the park’s new ride, there’s no telling what’s next,” Keeling said.
