Muscat - National Business Centre (NBC), which falls under the umbrella of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), organised recently a workshop on 'Innovation for Better Sales' in cooperation with the Matrix Academy for Entrepreneurs.
Underscoring the importance of innovation in helping business owners meet challenges while boosting effectiveness, the workshop aimed at providing practical training for owners of small and medium enterprises which are incubated at the National Business Centre and The Knowledge Mine (TKM), a press release said.
The workshop also endeavoured to open wider prospects for innovation in the sales process and enhance income through more effective sales. Successful case studies in the field were also elaborated.
NBC has started welcoming business owners and receiving their initiatives to establish and grow their businesses. Numerous start-ups are vying to submit their business plans in order to be incubated in this pioneering national programme to receive significant support. A group of experts at the centre provide essential support to initiatives which have growth potential.
PEIE, through the centre, seeks to achieve the national goals of intensifying efforts related to the development of SMEs, and encourage major companies to strengthen their relations with these institutions through increasing demand for products and services of small and medium enterprises, the release added.
