MUSCAT -- Onic Holding Group's National Life & General Insurance Company SAOC, the first and largest insurer in the Sultanate of Oman has added yet another feather to its cap by launching the NATRetail online range of products.

The official inauguration of NATRetail online took place at Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissa Resort & Spa on Sunday in the presence of Yahya bin Said bin Abdullah Al Jabri, executive president of Capital Market Authority (CMA), Salaam Said Al Shaksy, chairman, Onic Holding, Al Sayyida Rawan Ahmed Al Said, CEO, ONIC Holding, and Fareed Luftifrom the Dubai Insurance Group.

Speaking on the occasion, Yahya bin Said bin Abdullah Al Jabri said, "Oman's insurance sector has been growing at a rate of around 14 per cent annually for the past few years. A stronger and more consolidated sector will be in a position to challenge for more of the high profile, high premium policy needs in the Sultanate."

Stating that he is pleased to launch the NATRetail range of online insurance products, he said, "This facility will provide "Insurance anywhere, everywhere" solution. This convenience will surely delight customers. I am very proud to announce that not only is this is the very first Insurance e-launch in the Sultanate; it is also the first of a kind in this region for the insurance sector." With the launch of NATRetail, customers can buy a wide range of personalised insurance products including travel insurance, home insurance, comprehensive personal plan, personal accident plan and domestic help plan at the click of a button, from the comfort of their homes or offices.
