Marsa Al Nejoum Real Estate has unveiled the master plan of its waterfront Nujoom Islands project in Sharjah. The firm is the UAE-based development arm of master developer Al Hanoo Holding.

The agreement has been signed with Los Angeles-based design firm Creative Kingdom and the architectural and design contract has been awarded to QHC Architects and Engineers.

The Sharjah Department of Survey and Planning has approved the plan for phase one, which is being developed as a gated villa community. The developers have completed a major part of the infrastructure including the dredging works and all water canals for the project, which is a cluster of natural islands located on the coastline of Al Hamrya.

The project spans more than 60 million square feet and 95 per cent of the landmass, including the islands, is natural. It comprises environment-friendly villas in a waterfront setting.
