MoC Allocates KD 4.5 M
KUWAIT CITY, April 14
The Ministry of Communications has allocated a budget of KD4.5 million for the payment of outstanding job performance allowance to deserving employees, reports Al-Seyassah daily quoting sources.
Sources confirmed the Employment Affairs Department is now finalizing the list of beneficiaries, including Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti workers, to pave the way for the payment of the allowance in May. Sources said around 4,300 workers, 700 of whom are non-Kuwaitis, are entitled to the allowance as per the rules and regulations stipulated by the Civil Service Commission (CSC). Sources added the beneficiaries should have excellent job performance rating for 2012 and their absences must not exceed 15 days within the fiscal year.
