AMMAN -- The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding with the UAE's Fujairah Culture and Media Authority (FCMA) for professional cooperation.
Under the memo, the JMI and the FCMA will work to boost expertise exchange, raise awareness on the importance of independent journalism and work to develop journalists' performance through training.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of HRH Princess Rym Ali, JMI founder, who expressed her support for this cooperation.
Princess Rym also participated in the Fourth Fujairah Media Forum organised by the FCMA, titled "Journalism Credibility and Misinformation" which opened on Monday.
