The Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation's (Kahramaa) electricity projects department of the Technical Affairs directorate has received an ISO certification (ISO:9001/2008). The ISO certification covers all departments. The evaluation proved that all procedures, instructions and policy in the department are in line with QMS, in terms of customer orientation, leadership, employee participation and quality improvement.

The evaluation proved that all procedures, instructions and policy in the department are in line with QMS, in terms of customer orientation, leadership, employee participation and quality improvement.
The latest recognition is the outcome of relentless efforts, focused and dedicated attention as well as commendable team work among others, said a statement. The certification was awarded by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), after having audited the system and performance of the department successfully.
