Iraq has raised selling prices of its Basra Light and Kirkuk crudes to customers in the U.S., Europe and Asia, the State Oil Marketing Organization, or SOMO, said Wednesday.

The price of Basra Light crude for delivery to the U.S. in May was raised by $0.30 to $2.10 a barrel below the Argus Sour Crude Index, or ASCI. In April it was $2.40 a barrel below ASCI, SOMO said.

The May price for European buyers was raised by $1.40 a barrel to $4.85 a barrel below dated Brent compared with the previous month. In April it was $6.25 below dated Brent, it said.

Basra Light crude May price for delivery to Asian customers was raised by $1.10 a barrel to $0.70 a barrel below the average Oman/Dubai quotes. It was $1.80 a barrel below Oman/Dubai quotes in the previous month.

Kirkuk crude destined for the U.S. market in May was raised by $0.20 a barrel to $1.20 a barrel above ASCI compared with previous month. In April the price was $1.00 a barrel above ASCI.

For European customers the price in May for Kirkuk crude was raised by $1.10 a barrel to $2.55 a barrel below dated Brent compared with the previous month. In April the price was $3.65 a barrel below dated Brent.
