Muscat: Under the auspices of Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi, Al Buraimi Industrial Estate (BIE) organised on Saturday a forum for 'Investment and Support for Youth Projects' along with an Omani Products Exhibition at the Al Buraimi University College (BUC).
Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said Al Busaidi stressed on the importance of the forum which offers an opportunity for youth to identify sources of funding and highlight the investment opportunities available in Al Buraimi governorate.
"It is important for youth to consider positively initiating and developing their projects in line with the available funding sources," Al Busaidi said. More than 25 local companies took part in the Omani Products Expo, held on the sidelines of the forum.
The forum, which was held in tie up with Al Buraimi University (BU), presented eight working papers delivered by Al Buraimi Industrial Estate, the Directorate-General of Small and Medium Enterprises at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Oman Development Bank, Sharakah Fund for Development of Youth Projects, Industrial Innovation Centre at PEIE, Al Buraimi University College, University of Al Buraimi, and a presentation on one of the successful companies incubated by The Knowledge Mine (TKM) at Knowledge Oasis Muscat.
