Karbala Governor Amal al-Din al-Hurr said on Friday that investment in Iraq has a lot of obstacles, calling for changing the laws to cope with the development of investment in the world.
Karbala Governor Amal al-Din al-Hurr said on Friday that investment in Iraq has a lot of obstacles, calling for changing the laws to cope with the development of investment in the world.
Speaking to reporters, al-Hurr said "Investment is a new subject in Iraq, and witnessed several changes and amendments of laws to face the routine, which discourage investors".
He urged parliament to adopt a clear vision and enact laws to remove all obstacles facing investments.
Karbala lies 108 km southwest of Baghdad.
