Dubai: A private school has become the first company in the UAE to become a Global Growth Company ‘Partner’ as part of the World Economic Forum.
GEMS Education has joined 23 other ‘partner’ companies worldwide which are members of the forum. GEMS Education is the only kindergarten to Grade 12 private education provider in the world to be a member of the World Economic Forum.
Sunny Varkey, Founder and Chairman of GEMS Education, said: “We look forward to contributing, in a meaningful way, to discussions relating to the future of education so that every child has an equal opportunity to receive a quality education no matter what their economic, religious or cultural circumstances.”
